Stone. Raw materials are the fundamentals for life

The Rhomberg quarry represents a starting point for the circulation of resources. Stone is excavated here and used as a primary raw material in a wide range of building projects.  For instance, armour stones provide security and protection against flooding.

The quarry is the most important source of raw materials in the lower Rhine Valley and guarantees long term regional supplies of stone, asphalt and concrete.
